UNESCO Fact Finding Mission for Temples of Tamil Nadu

Project Scope: Preparation of a comprehensive report for ten temples inclusive of observations, issues and challenges and recommendations for heritage conservation.

Client: UNESCO, New Delhi

Project Brief: The scope of work encompasses study, review and quality of the recent physical interventions made to both building fabrics and the movable artifacts of the temples, as appropriate, and assess their relevance as per the international standards. The project largely focuses on preparation of an elaborate report that would include observations on physical interventions on each of the ten temples, issues and challenges and recommendations from the perspective of both the Government of India and International standard of heritage conservation.
