Project Brief: A Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Revitalisation of Jaipur Walled City- Phase 1 was submitted by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation to MoUD in 2008 and was subsequently sanctioned under the sector ‘Urban Renewal’ in 2008-09. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Revitalisation of Jaipur Walled City-Phase 1 outlined a series of projects within the walled city areas for urban revitalisation, infrastructure improvement and heritage conservation in the city amounting to a total project cost of Rs. 28.9 Crore. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Revitalisation of Jaipur Walled City-Phase 1 was sanctioned by Gol on 19.06.08 with an outlay of Rs. 28.96 Cr. The work was required to be executed in 4 packages. The tenders for all the 4 packages were floated in 1st phase amounting to Rs.21.46 Cr.

In continuation with the implementation of the projects in Phase 1 as per previously approved DPR for ‘Revitalisation of Jaipur Walled City- Phase 1’ which ensure that overall objectives and projects identified in the sanctioned DPR under JnNURM are met; the Jaipur Municipal Corporation in now submitting this DPR for the remaining bazaars and chaupads identified in Phase 2 for revitalization of Jaipur Walled City.

Project Cost: Approximately Rs. 30 Crores for Phase 1 and Phase 2
