Project Scope: Preparation of Detailed Project Report and Project Monitoring.

Project Brief: The Partition of India along with its independence is one of the greatest tragedies of the twentieth century. Seventy years after the event, it is time to take stock of what happened, why it happened and how its consequences were felt by the millions whose lives were blighted as a result. The Partition Museum is the project to remember, understand and learn about these millions. The museum is to be housed in Town Hall, the building which has been a witness to the story of partition and its aftermath and is an object of reflection and a site of memory itself. The building is given by Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board to The Art and Cultural Heritage Trust. It covers an approximate area of 1605 square meter.

The scope of work includes Planning and Conceptual Design of the museum, preparation of Detailed Project Report for Ministry of Culture Grant, preparation of architectural drawings with detail plans and specifications, coordination with Ministry of Culture and Project monitoring.
