Project Brief: The Shreyas Museum celebrates Gujarat's rich heritage while serving as a bridge between local and global cultures. Currently showcasing the state's history, art, and traditions alongside global influences, the museum is set for an upgrade that will transform it into a dynamic educational platform. Beyond being a repository of artifacts, it will offer immersive classroom experiences and creative workshops in pottery, puppetry, embroidery, and music, fostering cultural engagement among students and the wider community. As part of this transformation, the museum plans to merge the Lokayatan Folk Museum and Kalpana Mangaldas Balayatan Museum, creating an enriched experience for visitors. The upgraded galleries will be meticulously curated to highlight Gujarat's vibrant folk art, diverse communities, festive traditions, and intricate craftsmanship. Each exhibit will tell a unique story, capturing the essence of Gujarat’s cultural heritage and ensuring its artistic legacy continues to inspire future generations.
