Project Brief:
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum is envisioned as a world-class institution showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s rich history, culture, and architectural heritage. Housed in a newly constructed building, the museum is located 1.3 km from the Taj Mahal's eastern gate. It will highlight Shivaji Maharaj’s life, strategic prowess, and interactions with the Mughals, particularly his pivotal encounter in Agra.

Situated in the historically significant Braj region of Uttar Pradesh, it will bridge the rich legacies of Uttar Pradesh.

Along with celebrating Shivaji Maharaj’s life and legacy, the museum will provide an in-depth exploration of the Braj region, which holds immense historical and religious significance. The museum will also showcase the deep spiritual and artistic practices in different parts of the Uttar Pradesh.
