Client: Bengal Engineering Group and Centre, Roorkee

Project Brief: The Bengal Engineer Group and Centre, Roorkee is a premier training institution of Indian Army, which imparts basic military training, combat engineering training and technical trade training to recruits and soldiers of the Bengal Sappers and boasts of 211 years of glorious past. They have their regimental centre at Roorkee, Haridwar district, Uttarakhand. They have served in various battlefields in British India since 1803 and it is one of the few regiments of the erstwhile Bengal Prency Army. The Bengal Sappers were initially raised in Kanpur then in Allahabad and subsequently moved to Roorkee. The history of the Group is replete with deeds of gallantry and bravery, which motivate all ranks of the Centre and the same is displayed and preserved in the Group Museum located at BEG & Centre, Roorkee.
