  • BIT (Birla Institute of Technology) and DRONAH are proposing a research about temple architecture of Chhota Nagpur plateau. In this respect, Dr. Adam Hardy from Welsh College of Architecture, Cardiff, UK has visited Jharkhand in February 2005 and surveyed the sites of Itkhori, Ichak and Haradih. The temple remains are to be extensively surveyed and documented properly. The Research project would also involve studies and analysis related with all types of temples located in Jharkhand.
  • Islamic Architecture in Jharkhand.
  • DRONAH is proposing a project with the Tourism Department of Jharkhand Govt. to study the Mughal period Architecture in Sahebganj District at Rajmahal. Rajmahal served as the Provincial Capital of Bengal in Mughal period under the governorship of Raja Mansingh and Raja Todarmal in Akbar’s Mughal Empire and have lots of buildings of that period. These buildings have immense value. These need to be surveyed & documented to prepare a comprehensive plan for conservation, and tourism development of Rajmahal town.
